I think you are talking about being invited to the art portal. Basically, Newgrounds has a quality control system known as "scouting", normally when you start, your art is only visible to people who visit your user page. This means that your art is not actually visible in the art section of the site. (normally referred to as art "art-portal")
By getting scouted and invited to the art portal by another approved user, you can make your art appear in the art, section of the site. You also become eligible to scout artists yourself by using the "unscouted artists"-section of the art portal.
Keep in mind that if you upload too much low quality art or scout too many bad artists you can lose these privileges.
That being said, all your art looks more than good enough, for the site's standards so you shouldn't have to worry about that.

I highly recommend reading a more detailed guide here: https://ornery.newgrounds.com/news/post/388624

Welcome to the site by the way.

"portals" are basically just "sections" of the site. "art portal" is specialized for arts, "audio portal" is for music and podcasts... hope this helps :p

Welcome! Once you are scouted your art can appear in the public/online viewing area for art (art 'portal'). It is a form of quality control on the site.
